Excursions to destinations such as Oxford, Stratford and London are included in our programme. Students will be accompanied by staff on all excursions, and can be given free time when appropriate.

On a tour of the city led by local experts, students will learn about the history of all the city centre Colleges and other land-marks, including Christ Church, Trinity College, the Sheldonian Theatre, the Bodleian Library, and much more. Students can also find out about the history of the University and the admission process, to encourage interest in their further education.

Students will visit Stratford Upon Avon, Shakespeare’s birthplace. They have a chance to visit Shakespeare’s old school, King Edward VI, as well as his real-life classroom. They can experience how Tudor schoolboys were taught, and dress up in typical outfits from Tudor times.

During our excursion to London, we go on a walking tour which includes famous locations in central London, such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square and 10 Downing Street. Numerous areas are visited, such as museums, landmarks, attractions and shopping districts.
