Head of Cherwell Education – Eve Lee

 

Eve is educated in the UK and Hong Kong. She studied at St Paul’s Secondary School, King Edward’s School Witley, then at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, for her Undergraduate, Masters and PHD. She has been working in the International Student’s Education sector for over 15 years, including SOAS, the University of Greenwich and the International School of Creative Arts. Her hope is to offer all students the best education and opportunities to achieve their goals.

Over the past 15 years, she has organised UK travel for various groups, from institutions including the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Department of Social Services (Hong Kong). She held one of the few University of Oxford Summer Schools, which achieved excellent academic results. Eve is also a CELTA qualified teacher who understands the TEFL sector.

 

 

Director of Studies – Hester Mott

 

Having studied for a Modern Languages degree at Nottingham University, Hester completed her CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) at Gloucester University and went on to teach English abroad for several years in Hungary and France. Over this period, she prepared students and adults for Cambridge English examinations, including IELTS and PET, and is experienced with all ages from younger students to adults.

Hester has lived and travelled abroad so she understands the importance of learning new languages and having knowledge of new cultures. She has organised Summer Schools in Oxford and Stowe for students between 10-18 years of age, which involved intensive English language training as well as social and cultural activities, and excursions around the UK.
